Welcome to The Doll Curator

Some of my fondest childhood memories are stitched together with fabric, thread, and the imagination of dolls. My very first doll, randomly named Annabell, was a nightie case too—practical, playful, and so loved. Years later, when my daughter arrived, it wasn’t long before she too had her own ragdoll. Hers was Kim, a beautiful Chinese doll dressed in a kimono, who became her constant companion.

These memories never left me.

When my eldest son left for university, I moved into London. It was a new chapter—one that brought me closer to my lifelong love of fashion and textiles. I completed a green sustainability course and proudly received the green label of sustainability. It reaffirmed what I already knew: creating can be both beautiful and kind to the planet.

And so, The Doll Curator was born.

I wanted to design something unique, timeless, and sustainable—something to be cherished for a lifetime rather than just a season. Each heirloom doll I create is made using only the purest materials:

100% cotton natural fibres

100% threads

100% British wool for stuffing

Every choice matters. Every stitch tells a story.

An heirloom doll is more than a toy—it’s a gift of love, a keepsake that can be treasured forever by a child, a partner, or anyone who delights in handmade artistry.

I began curating dolls for fun—a playful Halloween doll, a whooping Libby doll—and then, the real collection took shape. Today, I’m proud to introduce my very first three heirloom dolls. Two of them are ballerinas, Daisy and Violet, graceful and full of personality, ready to find their forever homes.

This is just the beginning of The Doll Curator journey, and I’m so excited to share it with you. Whether you’re drawn to the nostalgia of handmade ragdolls, the beauty of sustainable craftsmanship, or simply the joy of giving something truly special, I hope you’ll follow along.

✨ With love, care, and thread,

Rebecca – The Doll Curator
